ASA 2009 Annual Meeting Highlights CME Web Site

Welcome to the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ 2009 Annual Meeting Highlights CME site. Here you can learn from some of the outstanding sessions presented at ASA’s 2009 Annual Meeting, test your knowledge, and earn CME credit.

Enrollment and Registration
Learners may choose to enroll in single or multiple courses. ASA members will be asked to register using their member ID; please have this available before proceeding to course registration. 

Fees and Payment
Slide/Audio Fees
ASA Members: $30 per credit hour
Non-members: $60 per credit hour

MP3 Fees
ASA Members: $10 per credit hour
Non-members: $25 per credit hour

Fees are collected during the registration process. If a course cannot be completed in one session, learners may return to the course as many times as necessary to finish it.

Course Participation and Claiming CME Credit
Once you have purchased an Annual Meeting Highlights 2009 course, you will receive login instructions with a web link (URL) and a password. Click the web link (or copy and paste the URL) and enter the assigned password when prompted. The course presentation will be displayed, as well as links to any "handout materials" that may accompany the course.

The course page requires the newest version of Adobe Flash. Click here to make sure you have the latest version installed.

Upon completing a course, you will be directed to the course evaluation and test. After successfully completing these items, you may print your CME certificate. A confirmation email containing a link to print the certificate also will be sent . ASA electronically reports CME credit earned by course participants whose ABA numbers are on file with ASA to the American Board of Anesthesiology on a monthly basis.

Accreditation Statement
The American Society of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this educational activity for a maximum of 31.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
